Honouring the Light
Within and around us
Summer Solstice, on June 21st, marks the official beginning of summer and is a day to honour all the love, light and pleasure of the earth. Come celebrate this longest day of the year, when the sun is at its peak, to honour and recognize our connection to Earth and acknowledge the life force energy, the light, within each of us.
The Earth provides for all of us with her incredible bounty, and the Sun’s warmth provides the light needed for all living beings to thrive and prosper. Together we will celebrate the fullness of her strength, fertility, and abundance, as we too celebrate our own strength by joining together, connecting with the earth, sharing, and offering gratitude for the abundance we have daily.
Hosted at the Glen Drummond Farm in Dundas, Ontario, we will be surrounded by nature's abundance as we practice mindfulness, yoga, meditation, and intention setting.
During this evening together, we will take a mindful walk along a nature trail, with various stops to help you ground your energy, connect with, and deepen, your connection to the energy around us and observe the blossoming of life all around.
Then, we will come together to practice yoga and mindful movement as we salute the setting sun and find gratitude and respect for all that is provided to us.
After our practice, complete the circle of the mindful walk as we join back together for a bonfire to set intentions for ourselves to energetically set in motion a period of awakening in our consciousness which will last all summer until the Fall Equinox.

Light Dinner
Enjoy a light dinner provided by the chefs at Glen Drummond Farm. Option of your choice of sandwich and salad.
Yoga
Enjoy a gentle yoga practice while enjoying the setting sun and enjoying the nature surrounding us.
Meditation & Intention Setting
During the evening bonfire we will come together to set intentions for ourselves and energetically set in motion a period of awakening in our consciousness which will last all summer until the Fall Equinox.
Mindfulness Walk in Nature
Take a mindful walk along a nature trail, with various stops to help you ground your energy, connect within and deepen your connection to the energy around you, observe the blossoming of life all around.
