Frequently Asked Questions

Is it ok if I come to the retreat alone?

Coming alone to a retreat can be a very powerful and transformative experience, providing you an opportunity to make deep connections with other guests. As hosts, our goal is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all our guests. We have found that many attendees come alone and leave making new friends. We can do our best to arrange shared accommodations for you so you have a tent mate too.

What if I don’t have any experience in yoga, meditation or other actives that are offered?

We welcome all levels from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. Showing up, just as you are, is exactly what we want. Our retreats are geared to support anyone, regardless of experience.  Our retreats and events are a great place to learn or establish a new practice for yourself.

What if I have allergies or dietary restrictions?

We always do our best to accommodate food or dietary requirements and will work with our caterers to ensure we have gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options, or anything else you require. Please ensure you let us know on the retreat registration what your requirements are or you can contact us.

What should I bring?

Once your registration is confirmed, we will send an email a few weeks prior to the retreat with a full list of things to bring. Each retreat may vary, but here is a list of things we would typically ask you to bring;

  • Yoga mat

  • Meditation pillow or cushion (if needed)

  • Yoga props like blocks, strap or bolsters (if needed)

  • Comfortable clothes

  • Journal

  • Appropriate clothing or attire depending on the time of year

  • Sunscreen / hats

What if I have physical or medical conditions?

We want to ensure our retreats are as accessible as possible so everyone can enjoy and benefit from the services we provide.

On the retreat or event registration we will have a section where you can indicate to us any requirements or needs you may have.

We will do our best to customize activities to your needs or provide alternate options and props or equipment where possible.  If we aren't sure, or need to connect with you directly we will.

Environment and Sustainability

We care so much about our earth and Mother Nature, so we do our absolute best to work with our venues, caterers and partners to ensure we use products that lessen our impact on the environment and limit any waste.

If you have any suggestions or idea, please do let us know as we are always looking at ways to optimize our ability to lessen our impact.

We’re always here to help.  If there is a question we have not addressed in the section, please do reach out to us.
